Wooden Flower

This is a hand made wooden flower that I bought last January in Pucon, Chile. The selective focusing was a result of using a Lensbaby 2.0.

Miniature Santiago

Inspired by Sam and Shahin’s adventures with a tilt-shift lens, I decided to try my hand at the ‘fake miniature’ effect in photoshop.
Here is a shot taken in Santiago on my old Canon A20 Point & Shoot camera, I then used photoshop to try and make the image appear as if it is from a miniature model.

Saturn

Two shots of Saturn from my backyard this evening. I attached my camera to a Meade 2080 telescope. It was hard as hell to focus, so the images are a little blurry while I get used to trying to focus the telescope.

Moose at f/2.8

Moose at f/2.8

I bought my self a new Canon 70-200 f/2.8L lens this week, and decided to test it out on a walk with Moose this afternoon. I was very impressed with the lens, particularly because the lighting was awful as the sky was completely overcast and we were in the woods across the street from my house.
