The Moon (With the new lens)
April 5th, 2006
I had to try out another shot of the Moon with my new 70-200 f/2.8L, the difference between the quality from that and my old 75-300 was remarkable. The shot was cropped in order to show more detail.

Canon 20D | Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L @200mm | M | F/9 | 1/200sec | ISO-400

Wow Pat. That’s an amazing shot. I’m no longer going to diss you for buying that lens :-). Do you have a bigger size that you could post?
Igor, thats actually a 100% crop, less zoom reach on it then the 300, but the quality difference is absolutely remarkable. I took some shots with the 75-300 of the moon, and 100% crops looked terrible.
Next step…a 1.4 or 2x teleconverter.
