The Moon (With the new lens)

I had to try out another shot of the Moon with my new 70-200 f/2.8L, the difference between the quality from that and my old 75-300 was remarkable. The shot was cropped in order to show more detail.

  1. Wow Pat. That’s an amazing shot. I’m no longer going to diss you for buying that lens :-). Do you have a bigger size that you could post?

  2. Igor, thats actually a 100% crop, less zoom reach on it then the 300, but the quality difference is absolutely remarkable. I took some shots with the 75-300 of the moon, and 100% crops looked terrible.

    Next step…a 1.4 or 2x teleconverter.
