Macro Moose
Thursday, June 8th, 2006
My Tamron 90mm 2.8 Macro lens arrived today. I was playing around with it in the yard while Moose was playing and was able to get him to sit still for a second to snap a shot of his eye (and the reflection of the sky in it).
Exif:
Canon 20D | Tamron 90mm f/2.8 1:1 Macro | Av | F/4 | 1/250 sec | ISO-400

Down Time and the Union Station Statue at Dusk
Friday, June 23rd, 2006
First of all, I appologize for the extended downtime on the server, my hosting company was having some issues with the server my site is hosted on.
This is a picture I took Wednesday evening at dusk of the (often photographed) statue just outside of Union Station in Toronto. Note that the bird in the statue’s right hand is actually real bird, joining his stone counterparts.
Exif:Canon 20D | Canon 17-85 IS USM @28mm | Av | F/6.3 | 1/500 sec | ISO-200

Revisiting Old Photos
Monday, June 26th, 2006
This is actually a picture I took 8 years ago on an old film Point and Shoot in a park in Santiago, Chile. I used my 20D and macro lens to photograph the negative on a backlid board, then inverted in Photoshop to get this effect.
Exif:Canon 20D | Tamron 90mm f/2.8 1:1 Macro | Av | F/2.8| 1/250 sec | ISO-100 => ISO-400 film on a Point and Shoot film camera
