Fall Colours

The beautiful scene at the cottage this past Saturday morning. The colours were some of the best I’ve ever seen up there, and the lake was dead calm.

How do you make the colours look so colourful ? Or is it just about having a better camera ?
This lake has a familiar feel: land-locked, water retained and released by a small dam, a rocky shoreline. Ours is in the Kawarthas off of 121. Beautiful pictures… would you mind if I asked which lake/region?
