My first post with a picture taken with my new 5D mark II, this is the winter scene in the woods across from my house.

I was working from home and turned around from my desk to see this scene right behind me. Moose tends to take my things and carry them around with him throughout the day. I’ve tried on a number of occasions to get a picture of him doing this, but by getting my camera and trying to get a good position, he normally wakes up. This time he stayed fast asleep while holding my shoe, I say “my” shoe, but considering he’s always moved it to another part of the house, I’ve pretty much given up on wearing it and decided it’s now his.

We had some unseasonal warm and rainy conditions in the middle of February, this resulted in some pretty foggy conditions.
